Indian Association for Transplant Coordinators (IATC)
is a not-for-profit, membership-based association that represents the transplant coordinators involved in organ donation & transplantation programme in the country. It is a registered organisation under the TamilNadu Societies Registration Act, 1975 – Registration Number: 454/2017

To unite the Transplant coordinators in India under one shelter to address the common interest in the arena of organ/ Tissue Donation & Transplant coordination. We are membership driven association focused on creating a professional identity and to provide value to the cause through education & awareness.

To build a dynamic forum of transplant coordinators in the country to ensure professional excellence in coordinating organ donation and transplantation.

To represent and support the Transplant Coordinators fraternity in India and to establish strong network among the transplant coordinators involved in organ and tissue donation and transplantation..
Objectives

To build strong relationship with Local, National and International Professional Bodies involved in organ and tissue donation and transplantation. . To support education, research and development activities in the field of organ / tissue donation and transplant coordination. . To advocate issues relating to professional and ethical issues of Transplant Coordinators. . To support and facilitate participation in exchanges of information and expertise. . To create awareness on organ donation and transplantation among health care professionals and general public. . To encourage transplant coordinators to attend conferences organized by National and International Professional Bodies.
